Perhaps helis are working properly, I don't know but planes are not I think. the sim is just having some abnormal physics for planes and too few models and settings.. I got this to train for quad racing. It feels the same as other sims like DRL. There is still a lot of work to be done on this sim though. I get the feeling given another couple of months or so it will eventially be considered one of the better sims. I will recomend this due to the potential I see in it although the price is bit high.. I own this simulator for more than a year and I spent a couple of hours every week to practice my RC Heli skills on simulator and in real world. I tried Phoenix 5.x, Realflight 7.x and Heli-X before and I would say they all have pros and cons. However after trying ACCURC I seldom go back to other simulators just simply because it's the most realistic one. Like all other simulators, it WILL NOT work perfectly out of the box. You have to fine tune the settings to suit you taste and tweak the helicopter to match with your flying style and your skill level, similar to what you are doing in real world, and that is why I enjoy flying RC helicopters.For users new to ACCURC I would recommend you to switch camera mode to pilot view, turn off auto zoom, using mouse wheel to zoom out max (widest view angle) and then zoom in with your mouse wheel about 3 clicks. I found this gives you best view angle with less visual distortion and make my eyes and brain feels more comfortable.At last I would recommend you to start with GAUI X7 as I found it flies a bit better than other models out of the box.. I purchased this simulator for the online sessions where we can help new members in the hobby learn how to fly. For this reason, I can not suggest anyone get this simulator. The online session is absolutely horrible! The sound is broken up, the models spawn on top of each other, and it only runs at about 2FPS if that. Most of the time it's just a still image of a helicopter sitting in the air stationary. Today (the same day I purchased this sim) I tried a session with a fellow member of my website and it constantly froze at creating model. After about 30 minutes and multiple reloads I was finally able to get into the online session with him and again, it was atrocious. I tried the planes and wow, I didn't think it could get this bad. The trainer flies nothing like a real trainer. The P-51 flies nothing like the P-51 and that 3D plane... It would not take off. It just sunk into the map. All planes should be removed from this sim, they are that bad! Quads, I thought the planes were bad... The quads are absolutely horrible! If you want a descent quad sim, get LiftOff. It is WAY better than this one for FPV.And the cars, all 2 of them are worse than the planes and quads put together and again, should be deleted from this simulator. Not everything about this sim is bad though. Single player mode for helicopters only, it is a fantastic simulator! Definitely something that a new member of the hobby can use to learn how to fly these helicopters. And the training sessions are fantastic to teach you how to not only hover in all orientations, but also in a Figure 8 and you have to follow it. Very good IMO for single player ONLY! My reason for getting this simulator was to help people in online sessions, and I can no way do that with how bad it is. And yes, my computer can run this sim even before it was optomized for some HD4000 graphics cards. My computer is way over powered for this sim, but wow, you wouldn't know that by looking at it...If you want it for single player mode to teach yourself, it is great. If you want to do anything online, look at other sims.... 5 stars! AccuRC was easy to set up and get working with my OpenTX Taranis. The physics are spot on, lots of models and great performance. My old machine pegs the framerate at 60fps with all settings on ultra and it never drops. Can't ask for more than that (see specs below for reference).They patch the sim constantly and each update brings loads of new features and improvements. When I had questions about some of the available functions they were easy to talk to and very helpful.Money well-spent!!I5-750 @3.2ghz4gb RAM Nvidia GTX770. I almost exclusively fly heli's. so I hardly know how a FW should feel in a sim keep this in mind reading this review.I used RC phoenix alot before, used a little bit of RF8. Some remarks on on those sims;- RC phoenix their install/update procedure is just from the nineties. And the dongle is a bit meh, Flying wise RC phoenix is better then RF8 (I really didn't like that sim for heli's) . But AccuRC is flying better then both. So for heli's AccuRC is THE sim to get. Good physics , Uptodate models, every so often a new model or skin drops which is always nice, ..... And a 'really big' plus for me is the dev have a feaking discord so you can just talk to them and get involve , Run alpha's , beta's, so every few days some fixes or improvements drop , its nice to know the program you use is actively being devellopped, etc....There is some stuff needs work:- multiplayer is a bit of barren place ( in RF8 or RC phoenix you always find someone around, but AccuRC discord helps to join up to some mm session, if you want )- menu is a bit meh, but it gets the stuff done. - While heli's are top notch , Fix wings and other models need some work ( but a FW wing update seems to be in the works)Also , remember for people looking for a game , look elsewhere , this is a 'SIM' not a 'GAME'.. One of the better rc heli sims out there.. I have tried to setup this simulator game to my spektrum DX6E ever sice i downloaded it. I cannot and have not played this game at ALL. I've asked for a refund and they refused to give it to me so I know this company sucks as for customer service and keeping new customers happy. They refused my refuned because they said i've played this game for more then two hours then is alowed but the two hours was not play time it was and still is trying to set it up.I paid $50.00 for a game i cannot play or even get my money back So Steam you suck!!!!. Great Simulator, this game is very close to the real life feeling of flying RC helis. I'm glad I found it.
